The Goblins' third full-length CD is the end result of a long story.

In late 1999 The Goblins were at the headquarters of Touch and Go Records in their hometown of Chicago, Illinois, where label owner Corey Rusk let the masked rockers see "The Coffin." One of Rusk's most treasured possessions, "The Coffin" is no mere casket, but rather a priceless stage prop of Horror-Punk legends The Misfits.

When Rusk momentarily left The Goblins alone with "The Coffin," the band took the time to closely examine this treasure. It was upon this examination that a remarkable discovery was made: A secret compartment full of papers, props, artwork, record sleeve designs and SHEET MUSIC had been discovered!

Hiding this booty in their gig bags, The Goblins removed this find for closer inspection. The Goblins then spent the next thirteen months in the studio recording these eleven previously unknown, unrecorded and never publicly performed Misfits songs (hereafter entitled "The Rusk Collection.")

"Missing Fits" is the end result of their labor.

This multimedia CD contains three Quicktime clips of Goblins archival video footage, a video game demo and exhaustive liner notes about the importance of these recordings written by noted scholar Dr. Yuri Strier, Chairman of the University of Chicago's Musics and Cultures Department.

This collection should appeal to the rawest teenage Misfits fans, the most sophisticated punk and hardcore connoisseurs and the most clinical ethnomusicologists. This is truly a record for everyone. My Pal God Records considers it a great honor to bring these songs back to New Jersey soil and liberate them from obscurity. Ladies and gentlemen, we give you "Missing Fits."
