Don't be afraid to suck at song writing!
I still get fraidy cat when I write songs, but I'm trying to get over the fear of sucking!
If you're not afraid to put yourself out there & write songs that feel good, you're bound to get good results even if it means changing the song from what you originally planned. Good songs take work and that work starts with the courage to suck sometimes!
