Practice practice practice - you're only going to become a great drummer if you practice a TON. If you love drumming, then this part should be easy!

Listen listen listen - take time to listen & feel lots of different kinds of music. There are many many great drummers & musicians out there that can inspire or influence your playing. Music is organized sound - use yer ears & feel it!

Lessons - I taught myself drums a long time ago but only starting taking lessons a few months ago. I love drum lessons! Some people don't want to take lessons because they would rather learn on their own & that's great, but lessons have made my drumming better!
